This is one of those bikes that gives a retro style, and modern technology.Duration of Agreement is. Wound open the tripple engine sounds like a squadron of Lancasters and with restyle chromy and curvy engine cases it looks the business, too. The 900cc three has been tuned from Trident and Trophy spec to give even more oomph. The Triumph Legend is one of the best incarnations of the original big Hinckley triple. The engine is powerful enough to exhilarate as well as impress visually, while the high tensile steel frame provides accurate, stable handling that makes the Adventurer as much a pleasure to ride as it is to look at. The Legend is designed to attract attention as a high profile cruising machine and reflect the individuality of its owner, but nevertheless as a Triumph remains a thoroughly credible road-going motorcycle. Please ask questions,as all sales are final, and buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping. Also,a $250.00 Paypal down payment is required within 48 hours, and full payment due within 7 days. The bike can sit for a couple weeks if needed,as long as stated payment is made within 7 days.ġ999 Triumph Legand 900, The legend unmistakably a Triumph to the core. Original black/silver paint looks great, but as with any black,it shows swirl marks here & there. All chrome is in great shape too, with no rust or corrosion.Overall,a really fun bike to ride, that handles great, and a great example of Triumph/Hinckley's return to their former glory.Clear Pennsylvania title in my name. Will probably need a new set of tires soon,as these appear to be original to the bike. I never cared for the look of the rear end of the bike with its flared rear fender, sissy bar & dual seat,so I made a few changes from stock. All changes were made with "bolt on" items, and you could easily convert it back to stock if desired. All the original parts shown in the pictures will be included with the "Buy It Now" option. The rear fender has a wide "bobbed" look, and gives the rear end a much cleaner appearance.I also installed a sprung solo saddle from the UK,and it really provides a comfortable riding platform.I also replaced the stock bars with a "European bend" set, which combined with the seat, gives a more traditional upright riding position.I also installed a set of Race Tech front fork springs, along with a pair of Triumph OEM fork boots.Really makes a nice difference on the front end.I also have a pair of Triumph OEM rubber gas tank knee pads that can be installed, along with a set of Triumph OEM engine guards. The seat mounted leather tool pouch is also included. Motor oil & filter changed, along with the front & back brake fluids.Carbs were totally disassembled & rebuilt, and all three were synced & adjusted.Valves were checked & adjusted where necessary. All coolant was flushed & changed,as was the clutch fluid.Spark plugs were also replaced, along with a new battery. The bike fires right up when cold with the choke, and quickly settles into a nice idle, and runs great. The 5-speed transmission works great, with no transmission issues. You are bidding on a 1999 Triumph "Adventurer" 900 that is in great shape, with less than 7,000 original miles. These are great running bikes with a smooth 900cc triple engine that just loves to rev.Great handling bike that can eat up the miles in comfort, while at the same time handles great in the twisties. Here are the details: I bought this bike this past spring from a guy who felt he was not putting the miles on it that it deserved, and when I bought it,it had basically sat in his garage for a couple of seasons not seeing any use.My mechanic & I went through the entire bike, and here is a list of what was done.
